The Buddha and the Dalai Lama both said in Tricycle and in one of his espisalatory acts that the first requirement of Buddhism is to give to others. I was brought up in that manner and instinctively know how to give, my curret lover acts on that.
What is it to give when we have an ache in the heart and give anyway; I believe it is wrong and we need to pay attention to blocks, fears, jealousies and aches of the heart. They all have something to say to us and we should pay heed.
For instance, I wanted to share a new contact with my Publisher lover, but something held me back. It wasn’t me who held me back but an idea put there by somebody else and I grieve this morning since last night that I didn’t give it to him. It would have openned me up and would have healed him, I am certain.
What gives?
The relaxed state of consciousness is what we always lose when we harbor and don’t give when we want to and when we give and don’t have the necessary mindset then we lose consciousness all together. A case in point, when President Bush didn’t know the name of the Supreme Commander he called him Commander in Chief and the Supreme Commander said that is you but if you want it to be me then we won’t search house to house in Iraq, we’ll build pantoon and plantoons for the kids who need shelter. I am the Commander in Chief so don’t switch and I’ll find your name in a couple of hours then we’ll switch and in that time ten kids died from starvation on the streets in Iraq. Why couldn’t the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces take charge for a couple of hours. I wish I knew. For them it is easy as saying SPY, for us easier as we sit at home and write. Tee Hee. But difficult for people feeding the poor children and poorer adults in Iraq. Why can’t we say Supreme Commander or is that President Bush too. I’d like to know for he said it was and took over control for a couple hours when in Britain with the Supreme Commander. I sure wish we had more gentleman like President Bush who take over when necessary and don’t alarm except in consequence, like in starving ten children who begged for food and got bubble gum and crosses on their clothes. Who are we to demand less action. I am Supreme Commander he could have said and Feed Those Kids. What does it take to act? He said it in Front of Television Cameras ten hours later after fifty-five kids starved. Who are we to blame but ourselves for not nodding in his direction and shouting it out as a brave young private girl did. She was silenced while picking up dead bodies of kids in Iraq. What do we call for? The Nation asked where I got this story from, last month on page three of the internet sourcing of escapades of the North Hamlet in Washington.
Something to say?
