Today we honor LOVE in the BTC; different from Heart Day in Tibet but the same as Valentine’s Day in the Canadian Proviince of Seskatchwan where we send hearts made of fabric for the purpose of display in windows like chapels, holstries, and seamstresses. We don’t protray these in the U.S. in windows but in envoloppes o be openned and felt.
Observance of Heart Day in Seskatchewan is the same as Valentine’ Day, only in the sense that they’re given, fabric not cardboard.
Cardboard gives strength and color but fabric is different, it folds and does crease unless left that way for years.
What is LOVE but the creation of texture in lives, our own and others. Crease, fold, use cardboard or fabric but celebrate this beautiful month of LOVE. Make it, create it, observe it but remember the heart is shaped by hands.
