In the yesteryears of pressure, we use to drop atomic bombs on “Priss” or “Press” Day as they now call it in Japan, and iron in old with the new frill of choice. But I prefer old with the new in fabric and not frill, so I can carry it in my purse and lay it out on the mat and on the floor or ground where I choose to lay, sit, or read, or write. These activities fill my days and are the recreation of a chosen life. On “Priss” or “Pressure” Day as I now call it for we are rich in Japan the Japanese Current Emperor writes, but I believe it is the existing One, we spend time doing the old in the new. A new car with a fabric swatch, or a new book, or a new necklace. Which ever is the preference and I worship the design of the day to incorporate the old with the new. I do it in fashion with clothes, swatches, and parenthically books, putting bookmarks used in new books and vice versa.
Try the day out and incorporate and be Shinto/Buddhist for a Day, like in Breme.
